The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a four-man gang allegedly involved in kidnapping, armed robbery, and ritual-related crimes in Ogbese town.
The suspects, including Ifeoluwa Julius, had been under surveillance following intelligence linking them to violent crimes in the area. During the operation, police recovered fetish items, blood-stained red and white cloth, and an expended cartridge.
DSP Olushola Ayanlade, the command’s spokesperson, stated that Ifeoluwa openly admitted to practicing ritualism. Further intelligence indicated that the gang had recently obtained criminal charms to strengthen themselves for future criminal operations.

According to police, the gang confessed to multiple kidnapping incidents and admitted that their recent activities were aimed at enhancing their criminal capacity.
The Commissioner of Police praised the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for his strategic leadership and credited the SWAT operatives for their professionalism and tactical efficiency.
