Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has issued a stern warning to social media personality and matchmaker Kehinde Adams, popularly known as Lege Miami, following offensive remarks about his late father.
The controversy arose after Lege Miami criticized several Super Eagles players on social media in the wake of Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. While he commended Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Fredrick, and Calvin Bassey, he singled out others, including Nwabali, for criticism. One of his comments reportedly involved Nwabali’s late father, prompting the goalkeeper to respond forcefully.
In a post on his Instagram Stories, Nwabali wrote:
“Lege Miami, remove my late father’s name from your mouth when creating content. If you cannot show respect for people’s parents, at least respect the deceased. I am not the type of footballer to take this lightly—I will beat you mercilessly. You are free to insult me, but leave my late dad’s name out of it.”
