Social media personality and matchmaker Kehinde Adams, popularly known as Lege Miami, has replied to Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali following the goalkeeper’s stern warning over comments about his late father.

The dispute began after Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, when Lege Miami criticized several players on social media. One of his remarks regarding Nwabali’s late father prompted a direct response from the goalkeeper, demanding respect for his family.

In an audio message sent to Nwabali, Lege Miami apologized for the comment about his father but also criticized the goalkeeper’s demeanor on the pitch and with teammates.

“I am sorry if my comment about your late father upset you. However, your behavior toward your colleagues is very rude. You try to dominate the entire field, reject advice, and act like the authority when mistakes are pointed out. Your antics on the pitch are excessive,” he said.

Lege Miami further added, “You are not the only goalkeeper in Nigeria. Mistakes happen, and people are only trying to help. That does not give you the right to come into my DMs and insult me. Who do you think you are, Nwabali?”

The exchange has drawn attention on social media, fueling debates on player accountability, respect, and the limits of public criticism in professional sports.
