The late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola’s brother has publicly criticized fellow actors, including Iyabo Ojo and Lateef Adedimeji, for failing to support her while she was alive.

Speaking in a viral video, he expressed frustration at what he described as the industry’s tendency to only acknowledge her after her sudden death on December 27, 2025. Ademola passed away just a day after posting an upbeat message declaring, “this year will never see my end.”

Addressing colleagues and other A-list actors, he said, “You all post about Allwell now, but how many of you supported her when she was alive? You only see her in movies. Iyabo Ojo, Lateef Adedimeji, and other so-called friends—remember she helped all of you when you were starting. Did any of you promote her movies or honor her while she lived?”

The actor highlighted that his sister had consistently supported colleagues in the film industry, hosting them at her home and assisting in their careers, yet she received little recognition during her lifetime.
