Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has praised his players for their resilience and tactical execution following a commanding 4–0 win over Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The Ligue 1 side produced a clinical display on Wednesday, with goals from Fabian Ruiz, Ousmane Dembele, and Goncalo Ramos sealing the emphatic victory over Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid.

Speaking after the match, Enrique described the result as a defining moment for the club and its supporters, highlighting the team’s determination under difficult conditions.

“It’s a very special moment for PSG, for our fans, and for the entire club,” Enrique told PSG TV. “The players delivered a complete performance. Despite the extreme heat, they continued to push and stayed focused throughout.”

Enrique acknowledged the challenging weather conditions, saying the heat impacted both teams but credited his squad for maintaining composure and intensity over 90 minutes.

“Everyone could see how stifling it was. But we never lost our rhythm or drive, and that made the difference,” he added.

PSG now advances to the final, where they will face Chelsea on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The victory continues what Enrique called an “incredible season” for the Parisian club, who are aiming to lift the Club World Cup trophy for the first time in their history.
