Nigerian businessman and socialite Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has expressed disappointment after comedian and streamer Carter Efe damaged a car reportedly gifted to him less than 24 hours earlier.

The incident followed a livestream appearance involving Carter Efe and fellow streamer Peller, during which both content creators shocked viewers by violently damaging each other’s vehicles as part of an online stunt.

Reports indicate that E-Money had presented the car to Carter Efe as a gesture of appreciation for his contributions to the entertainment industry. The businessman later addressed the situation when Carter Efe, accompanied by Peller, paid him a courtesy visit on Sunday.

In a video clip circulating online, E-Money voiced his dissatisfaction with the incident, stating that he was unhappy the vehicle was destroyed shortly after it was gifted. He noted that the gesture was intended as recognition of the streamer’s work and expressed concern about the example set for viewers who watched the livestream.

“To be honest, I wasn’t happy about you guys destroying the car I gifted Carter Efe in less than 24 hours. I gave you the car because I appreciate what you’re doing,” he said.

“You went overboard by destroying the car. A lot of people were watching you. However, the mistake has already been made. I forgive you, but it should not happen again.”

The stunt has since generated mixed reactions across social media platforms, with some users criticising the act as excessive while others viewed it as entertainment-driven content creation.
