Former manager of Nigerian music legend Innocent “2face” Idibia, Kaka Igbokwe, has confirmed that the award-winning singer was arrested in London, United Kingdom, following a dispute with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
The incident reportedly occurred during the singer’s concert tour in the UK. Idibia, who travelled with Natasha, failed to appear at a scheduled performance on October 2, 2025. His absence sparked speculation that he had been detained after an altercation with his wife at the airport.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze, Igbokwe — the son of late music icon Christy Essien-Igbokwe — confirmed the reports, stating that the account circulating online was accurate.
According to him, the dispute began shortly after the couple arrived in London. While fans led 2face into a store upon landing, Natasha felt neglected and reacted angrily. Igbokwe, who was part of the London tour team and was on the same flight, said Idibia attempted to return to his wife after realising she had been left behind, but the situation quickly escalated.
The confrontation led to the singer being handcuffed and taken into police custody. A video capturing the arrest, posted on TikTok by blogger Tosin Silverdam on December 1, 2025, has since reignited online debate over the incident.
