A ransom demand of N100 million per person has been issued for the 38 worshippers abducted from the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The victims were taken during a church programme on Tuesday, prompting widespread concern within the community. According to reports by Leadership, the abductors have begun placing calls to the families of those seized, initiating negotiations for their release.
Security agencies in the state have yet to provide updates on rescue efforts, but local residents say tension has continued to rise as relatives scramble to respond to the ransom demands.
