The mother of Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Ìmísí, has publicly refuted her daughter’s claims about being sent out of the family home at age 12 and allegations of sexual abuse during her childhood.
In a video shared on Instagram, Ìmísí’s mother expressed shock at the statements, insisting she has no memory of such an incident and that it never occurred. She also confirmed that she contacted her own mother, Ìmísí’s grandmother, and her sister, both of whom said they had no knowledge of any event in which Ìmísí was expelled.
Addressing the claims of sexual abuse, she acknowledged she is unaware of when or how the alleged incidents happened and called on Ìmísí to clarify the timeline publicly.
The mother further revealed that her daughter’s statements have subjected her to public criticism, with many insulting and labeling her as a bad parent, describing the backlash as overwhelming.
