Nigerian rapper and singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, widely known as Mr Real, has voiced concerns over the security situation in Lagos after sharing a vivid dream on social media.
According to the artist, the dream depicted armed bandits infiltrating the city, abducting people from nightclubs and office buildings. He noted that many of his past dreams have later materialized, adding to his concern.
“My mind has been unsettled since yesterday because of what I’ve been seeing. I dreamt that bandits entered Lagos, taking people from clubs and offices. About 70% of my previous dreams have come to pass,” Mr Real wrote.
He urged Lagos residents to remain cautious, clarifying that his intention is to raise awareness about potential threats rather than incite panic.
The warning comes shortly after the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, alerted the public to the presence of armed groups in several South-West communities. Adams said these groups are planning coordinated attacks, targeting Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, and Lagos States.
