There was panic in the early hours of Saturday after a generator caught fire at the new residence of popular TikTok content creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller.
The incident was shared by the influencer on his Instagram page, where he posted a video of the blaze. In the caption, he wrote that the generator “almost burnt down” his new house, adding that it took about 30 minutes to extinguish the fire.
In the video, flames could be seen rising from the generator as Peller and others at the scene attempted to contain the situation. He was heard shouting for help and urging those around him to pour water on the machine to prevent the fire from spreading.
The fire was eventually brought under control before causing structural damage to the building. Only the generator was affected.
No injuries or casualties were reported, and all occupants of the house were confirmed safe.
