Hundreds of football fans gathered in Hong Kong on Monday for the debut of a new exhibition dedicated to global football star Cristiano Ronaldo. The showcase, described as the first official CR7 exhibition outside Portugal, opened at a luxury shopping mall and quickly drew long queues of visitors eager to get a glimpse of the footballer’s iconic career highlights.

The “CR7 LIFE Museum Hong Kong” features a wide array of Ronaldo memorabilia, including match-worn jerseys, trophies, and life-sized statues of the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward. Among the highlights are a sculpture capturing Ronaldo mid-air in one of his signature goal celebrations and another portraying him in traditional Saudi Arabian attire.

Fans, many of whom arrived hours before the opening, expressed their admiration for the Portuguese star. Alvin Lai, a 14-year-old football enthusiast who was first in line, described Ronaldo as his idol and said, “He’s different from everyone else.”

Another attendee, university student Henry Singh, praised the athlete’s dedication and longevity. “At 40, he’s still performing at the highest level. He’s one of the hardest-working players in the game,” Singh said.

The exhibition comes shortly after Ronaldo renewed his contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. In an Instagram post announcing the extension last month, he called it a “new chapter” in his career.

The CR7 exhibit is expected to be a major attraction for both local fans and tourists, offering an immersive look at the legacy of one of football’s most celebrated figures.
