On Wednesday, the Afrobeats legend posted a brief plea on his Instagram Story, writing simply: “Help me.” This marked 2Face’s first public comment since the controversy surrounding his marriage began trending online.
In response, singer Teniola Apata, widely known as Teni, posted a video on Instagram urging fellow artists Timaya and Kcee to intervene. “2face my legend, we’re coming to save you,” she captioned the clip.
Reports suggest that 2Face’s troubles originated in the United Kingdom, where a heated exchange with his wife allegedly led to police involvement and his brief arrest. The issue resurfaced during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, during which the couple were seen arguing openly.
