Popular Nigerian TikTok influencer Jarvis has officially confirmed her engagement to fellow content creator Peller, expressing strong optimism about the prospect of marriage in the future.
Jarvis, who had previously stirred confusion about the nature of their relationship, clarified in a recent interview with Channels Television that Peller’s December 2024 proposal was genuine. The 23-year-old had earlier described the engagement ring as a mere “promise ring” and denied being romantically involved with the 19-year-old TikToker.
Now, she admits the ring symbolizes a true commitment.
“It’s true that we’re engaged. Peller actually proposed to me — I didn’t see it coming. The ring doesn’t fit, so I kept it safe at home,” she said during the interview.
She also addressed their future, stating, “I believe we’ll get married at the right time. Marriage is a big deal, and one has to approach it with caution.”
Reflecting on their relationship, Jarvis revealed that her perception of Peller changed drastically after getting to know him beyond his online persona. She noted that initially, she didn’t expect compatibility between them due to how he presented himself on social media.
“He’s taught me that judging people by their social media appearance is unfair. In person, he’s actually very cool and different from what I imagined,” she added.
