President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a three-state visit this weekend, covering Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States, according to a statement issued on Friday.

The disclosure was made by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

The President will begin the trip in Borno State, where he is expected to commission a number of federal and state projects alongside Governor Babagana Zulum. While in Maiduguri, Tinubu will also attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.

From Borno, the President will proceed to Bauchi State to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, who died on November 27.

Following the Bauchi engagement, President Tinubu will travel to Lagos State, where he is expected to spend the end-of-year holidays. During his stay, he will serve as guest of honour at the Eyo Festival scheduled for December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square.

The festival will honour several notable personalities, including the President’s late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, former Lagos State Governor Alhaji Lateef Jakande, and business icon Chief Michael Otedola.
