Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has spoken publicly about reconciling with the father of her child, describing the development as the end of more than a decade of conflict, emotional strain and public disagreements.

In an emotional message shared on her social media platforms, the actress reflected on what she called a long season marked by broken communication, bitterness and deep personal wounds, which played out largely in the public space.

According to Dikeh, the reconciliation followed nearly 10 years of unresolved tension, during which efforts at peace repeatedly failed. She said the breakthrough eventually came not through personal strength or deliberate strategy, but through faith, humility and sustained prayers.

She explained that the process led to softened hearts, the letting go of pride and a gradual return of mutual respect, particularly in consideration of their child’s wellbeing.

The actress expressed gratitude to her child’s father, Dr Kunle, for choosing reconciliation and embracing what she described as a path of peace. She credited the outcome to obedience, patience and divine intervention, noting that the resolution happened in a way she did not anticipate.

Using her experience as encouragement, Dikeh urged others facing prolonged personal or family conflicts not to lose hope, stressing that even situations that appear irreparable can change with time, reflection and faith.

She described the reconciliation as “10 years in one day,” calling it a personal testimony and a reminder that healing, though delayed, is still possible.
