Popular Nigerian social media influencer and activist, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has alleged that his life is under threat, accusing Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, and content creator King Mitchy of involvement.
VeryDarkMan made the allegation in a video shared on his Instagram page on Friday, which quickly went viral across social media platforms.
The development follows an ongoing online dispute between VeryDarkMan and King Mitchy, who recently drew public attention after renovating a public school within six days, reportedly with financial backing linked to Seyi Tinubu.
The controversy began after VeryDarkMan questioned King Mitchy over accountability for public donations she allegedly received since 2025. In response, he accused Seyi Tinubu of sponsoring her charitable activities.
In the latest video, the influencer claimed he had received threats and called on Nigerians to hold both Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy responsible should anything happen to him.
According to VeryDarkMan, a message allegedly sent by King Mitchy to one of his associates suggested attempts to resolve the dispute following a conversation involving Seyi Tinubu.
He further alleged that he no longer feels safe and expressed concerns over what he described as intimidation linked to his criticism of government actions.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Seyi Tinubu nor King Mitchy has publicly responded to the allegations.
