Popular social media commentator, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has publicly confirmed he is in a relationship after unveiling a woman he described as his girlfriend on social media.
The online critic shared photos of himself with the unnamed lady across his verified platforms on Monday, accompanied by a brief message announcing his temporary withdrawal from social media.
“She’s here. Bye, Internet for now,” he wrote, punctuating the post with love emojis.
The announcement has drawn widespread attention, coming amid longstanding speculation linking VeryDarkMan to content creator Jojo of Lele.
Jojo of Lele had previously described VeryDarkMan as her partner, publicly referring to him as her “husband” and announcing their relationship nearly a year ago.
Tensions around the alleged relationship intensified in February 2025 when VeryDarkMan accused media personality Nedu Wazobia of engaging in inappropriate relationships with several women, naming Jojo of Lele among them.
Jojo, however, firmly denied the claim, insisting she had never had any personal involvement with Nedu.
Following the public dispute, VeryDarkMan later invited Jojo of Lele to dinner in Abuja, an encounter that further fueled speculation. Shortly after the meeting, Jojo openly declared her feelings for the social media critic.
“I’m in love with VDM,” she said at the time.
VeryDarkMan’s latest post now appears to put an end to the speculation, signaling a clear shift in his personal narrative and confirming that he is currently in a relationship.
