General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has called for greater peace, security and progress in Nigeria as the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) returns to Ogun State.
Kumuyi made the call during a visit to the Olota of Ota, Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege, ahead of the latest edition of the five-day GCK programme.
The cleric said Nigerians need peace and security to enable the country to make meaningful progress, adding that he and other citizens were praying for improved conditions across the country.
The Ogun West edition of the crusade is scheduled to hold from August 26 to 30, 2026, at the Anglican Church Grammar School in Ota.
Kumuyi’s appeal comes at a time when insecurity remains a major national concern, with communities across parts of Nigeria continuing to grapple with kidnapping, banditry and other forms of violence.
The GCK programme is expected to combine Christian preaching and prayer with messages centred on personal and societal transformation.
