The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have commenced discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two political organisations and deepening relations between Nigeria and China.
The engagement followed a courtesy visit by representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, led by Chancellor Wan Ji and the Director-General of the China Centre for Contemporary Studies, to the APC National Secretariat on Thursday.
The meeting places party-to-party engagement within the wider context of Nigeria-China diplomatic and economic relations.

The Chinese delegation’s visit brought representatives of the Chinese diplomatic mission into discussions with the leadership of Nigeria’s governing party.
