Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly accused her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of possessing her sex tape, amid ongoing tension between the couple. The revelation came as Daniels responded to Nwoko’s recent Instagram claims that she had been involved in drug use.
According to the actress, the allegations about drug use have damaged her reputation, despite the trust she once placed in Nwoko, including sharing private, intimate content with him. Daniels expressed concern over the potential leak of the video, noting that her former husband had repeatedly acted in ways that negatively affected her.
Reflecting on her past, Daniels highlighted that she married Nwoko at the age of 17 and was not engaged in drugs at the time. She acknowledged the impact of the allegations on her public image but remained resolute about reclaiming her narrative. “My name is ruined for now, but I will rewire my story. That narrative will be dead and gone,” she said.
In addition, Daniels vowed to pursue legal action against Nwoko, declaring her determination to confront him in court “with all of me,” signaling a firm stance against the alleged betrayal and false claims.
This latest development adds another chapter to the high-profile and often publicized fallout between the Nollywood star and the politician, highlighting the challenges celebrities face when private matters become public controversies.
