Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has claimed to be in possession of a video showing how the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was killed. Fabiyi has called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the case.
In a post shared on social media, the actor stated that the video was sent to him amid an extortion attempt. He also revealed that he had written to the President in May 2025, alerting him that Mohbad had been “murdered.”
Fabiyi further said that the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja had reviewed Mohbad’s case file and identified key suspects. However, he alleged that efforts are now being made to cover up the investigation.
“They are even asking the same suspects to write a petition against me over illegal arrests. This suspect wants to silence me because they want to use the video against you,” Fabiyi said.
