Drama has unfolded in parts of Ghana as residents reportedly rushed to secure spaces inside one of eight arks constructed by Prophet Eboh Noah, who claims to have received a divine revelation that the world would end today, December 25, through massive flooding.
The prophet has insisted that only individuals inside the arks would be spared once the flood begins, a declaration that has sparked fear, curiosity and widespread reactions on social media across Ghana and beyond.
Earlier this year, Ghanaian authorities briefly arrested Prophet Eboh Noah over the controversial prophecy, but he was later released after officials ruled that making religious predictions does not constitute a criminal offence.
