The insurgent group shared images purportedly showing Eid celebrations across camps in Northeast Nigeria.

The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has released photographs purportedly showing Eid al-Adha celebrations across camps located in parts of Northeast Nigeria.

The images, which circulated online, reportedly captured gatherings and activities organised during the Muslim festival within territories linked to the group.

The release of such visuals reflects the group’s continued use of media materials to project presence and operational activity in the region despite ongoing military operations against insurgent groups.

The development also draws renewed attention to persistent security challenges in parts of the Northeast, where insurgency-related activities have continued for years.

Authorities had not issued an official statement regarding the newly circulated photographs as of the time of this report.
