Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has deleted two politically charged posts he made amid the heated political atmosphere surrounding the 2026 Osun State governorship election.

The deleted posts had attracted significant attention online after Davido openly criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) and some of its leading figures during the election period.

The singer’s decision to remove the posts has sparked fresh reactions among fans and political observers, with many questioning why he chose to delete them.

The development comes after a politically active period for Davido, who had repeatedly commented on the Osun election and expressed support for Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Reports confirmed that the deleted tweets had generated considerable engagement before being removed.

The singer had earlier criticised the APC’s campaign in Osun and made several posts concerning the election.

His latest action has therefore triggered speculation online, although no official explanation from Davido for deleting the posts has been established.

The incident adds another twist to the singer’s highly visible political involvement during the Osun election.
