Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has raised serious allegations against fellow actress Liz Anjorin, citing personal threats and a recent fire outbreak at her Lagos office as part of a string of targeted attacks. Ojo insists that Anjorin should be held responsible if anything happens to her or her family members.

The alarming claims come on the heels of a fire incident earlier this week that affected Ojo’s business premises. Though no injuries were recorded, her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, took to social media to link the fire to previous threats the family had received. She disclosed that a letter delivered in May had ominously indicated that both her and her mother’s movements were being monitored.

In a post shared on Instagram on July 10, Iyabo Ojo confirmed the existence of the threat letter. She said it arrived just days before her daughter’s wedding in Tanzania and warned that she would endure a harrowing three-month period. While official investigations are ongoing, Ojo expressed concern that her family was being deliberately targeted and that efforts to intimidate or harm them were escalating.

Tensions flared further when Liz Anjorin publicly announced the withdrawal of a ₦1 billion lawsuit less than 24 hours after Ojo’s Instagram post. In response, Ojo released a video later deleted accusing Anjorin of being linked to the threats. “If anything happens to my children or myself, Lizzy Anjorin should be held accountable,” she said. She also clarified that the legal matter between them had not yet reached court but was still at the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) stage.

The situation drew additional attention when social commentator Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), responded to Ojo’s statements. Describing her revelations as “shocking,” he suggested that he had deeper insights into the matter but was choosing to remain silent out of respect for her.

With emotions running high and the dispute unfolding in public view, calls for law enforcement to investigate and ensure the safety of all parties have intensified. The entertainment industry and fans alike now watch closely as the feud between the two Nollywood figures develops both legally and personally.
