Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 occupies his thoughts regularly as he continues to mobilise support for the President.
Wike made the remark while speaking about his political activities and support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
According to reports, the former Rivers State governor said he thinks about Tinubu’s re-election even while sleeping and eating, underscoring the intensity of his political commitment to the President’s campaign.
Wike has repeatedly declared support for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid and has maintained that Rivers State is firmly behind the President.
He has also criticised opposition figures, particularly members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), as political parties position themselves ahead of the election.
His latest comments are a political position and do not establish the eventual outcome of the 2027 election.
The election is expected to feature competition among several political parties and presidential candidates as campaigns and political realignments intensify.
