Chioma Adeleke, wife of Nigerian superstar Davido, paid a deeply emotional tribute to her late son, Ifeanyi, during her wedding celebrations on Thursday. The couple’s first child passed away in October 2022 at the age of three, following a tragic drowning incident at their Banana Island residence in Lagos.
Sharing the touching moment on Instagram, Chioma posted photos of her wedding bouquet adorned with Ifeanyi’s image. In her caption, she wrote: “My best friend walked me into forever…. Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, mummy.”
Davido also commemorated their son during the ceremony by wearing cufflinks engraved with Ifeanyi’s image. Responding to Chioma’s heartfelt post, he simply wrote: “Till Infinity.”
The couple recently celebrated their love with an extravagant white wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025. This marked the final chapter of a series of three wedding events, following their court marriage in March 2023 and traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
