Regina Daniels has publicly responded to accusations from her co-wife, Laila Charani, who recently shared a statement on social media making serious claims against the actress.
Laila alleged that Regina had introduced her, other women in their husband’s household, and Regina’s younger sister, Destiny, to hard drugs. She also accused Regina of engaging in sexual relationships with women.
In her response, Regina dismissed the concerns that her presence around children is unsafe or that she exposes them to harmful behaviors, including drug use. She further stated that she does not consider same-sex intimacy a “shameful act” and questioned Laila’s certainty about her private life.
“Is she so certain because I slept with her too?” Regina remarked.
Additionally, Regina highlighted that, were it not for polygamy, her sons and Laila’s son could not even share the same space due to past misdeeds attributed to him.
Regina concluded her statement by appealing to her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, to protect her sons, who remain in his custody, and to ensure they are not used to undermine her in any way.
