Nigerian music superstar Davido has spoken out following two recent violent incidents in the country: the deadly attack on a church in Kwara State and the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi State.

On Tuesday evening, three people were killed during a service at a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Kwara, while several members, including the pastor, were reportedly abducted. The attack occurred less than 24 hours after 25 secondary schoolgirls were kidnapped in Kebbi on Monday, November 17, 2025.

In a statement shared on X on Wednesday, Davido described the incidents as devastating, saying, “No family deserves this pain.” He emphasized that such acts of violence should never become normalized in Nigeria.

The singer extended his prayers and condolences to the families affected, urging Nigerians to unite and work toward creating a safer environment for children.

Davido also called for urgent action to ensure the safe return of the kidnapped girls, appealing to anyone with credible information to come forward responsibly to aid rescue efforts. He concluded by praying for comfort for grieving families, peace for the nation, and accountability for those behind the attacks.
