Federal Government says Digital Switch-Over project is complete and ready for nationwide rollout.
The Federal Government has officially announced June 17, 2026, as the nationwide rollout date for Nigeria’s long-awaited Digital Switch Over (DSO) project.
According to the announcement, the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting has been fully completed and will now be implemented across all states of the federation.
Officials described the development as a major milestone in Nigeria’s communication and technology sector, promising clearer signals, wider content access, and improved broadcasting quality.
The government also revealed plans for nationwide sensitisation campaigns to ensure citizens are properly guided through the transition process.
