Nigeria delivered a commanding performance in London to defeat Jamaica and secure another Unity Cup crown.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles produced a dominant display on Saturday night, defeating Jamaica 3-0 in the final of the 2026 Unity Cup to secure their fourth title in the competition.

The final, played in London, got off to a dream start for Nigeria as Alhassan Yusuf opened the scoring in the third minute after capitalising on an early attacking move that caught the Jamaican defence off guard.

The Super Eagles maintained control for most of the encounter, dominating midfield battles and limiting the Reggae Boyz to few clear chances. Their organised defending and attacking pressure kept Jamaica on the back foot throughout the game.

Nigeria doubled their advantage in the 59th minute when Terem Moffi found the back of the net, putting Eric Chelle’s side firmly in command of the final.

Philip Otele then sealed the victory in the closing stages, scoring in the 90th minute to complete a comprehensive 3-0 triumph and spark celebrations among Nigerian supporters.

The victory marks another successful outing for the Super Eagles in the Unity Cup and further strengthens the team’s momentum ahead of future international engagements.
