Former Chelsea and Manchester City winger was reportedly arrested after his Lamborghini crashed into motorway barriers in Hampshire.

Former England international and Feyenoord winger, Raheem Sterling, has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving after his Lamborghini crashed into motorway barriers on the M3 in Hampshire.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Thursday morning near the Minley Interchange, with Hampshire Police receiving reports of the crash shortly before 9am.

Authorities said no other vehicles were involved in the collision and no injuries were recorded.

Police reportedly arrested the 31-year-old footballer on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs, dangerous driving, possession of a Class C drug, and failing to provide a specimen.

Sterling was later released on bail while investigations continue.

The former Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal winger currently plays for Dutch club Feyenoord after leaving Chelsea earlier this year.
