Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori says Deltans should support President Tinubu because of family and regional ties.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has declared that it would be “evil” for the people of Delta State to vote against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The governor based his position on family and regional connections linked to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu.
His remarks provide another indication of the political alignment emerging ahead of the next electoral cycle and highlight the role personal and regional affiliations continue to play in political discourse.
Oborevwori also described President Tinubu’s re-election as his number one political project.
The comments come as political actors across the country continue to position themselves ahead of 2027.
