The Omega Fire Ministries founder says sponsors of terrorism should be targeted as insecurity continues to trouble parts of Nigeria.

Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has called on President Bola Tinubu to resign if he is unable to address the insecurity challenges affecting the country.

Speaking on the security situation, Suleman argued that the real issue lies with the sponsors of terrorism, insisting that authorities should focus on identifying and confronting those funding and empowering violent groups.

According to the cleric, many of the young armed men currently involved in violent activities were children when terrorism began escalating years ago and have now grown into active participants in the crisis.

Suleman said if the President cannot deal with the sponsors of terrorism, then another person should be allowed to take over leadership responsibilities. His remarks add to the growing public conversation around insecurity and government response efforts across different parts of the country.

Despite his criticism of the situation, the cleric praised Nigerian security agencies, including the military, police and Department of State Services, describing them as among the best he has encountered globally.

The comments come amid continuing national concern over attacks, kidnappings and broader security challenges that remain central to political and public discourse in Nigeria.
