A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ibrahim Modibbo, has predicted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will lose the 2027 presidential election before 8am on election day.
Modibbo made the declaration while appearing on AIT’s Democracy Today programme on Friday night, where he expressed confidence in the electoral prospects of the ADC presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
‘Atiku Cannot Be Rivalled’
The ADC chieftain argued that Atiku possesses the political experience, nationwide structure and support base required to defeat the incumbent president.
According to Modibbo, Atiku is currently the opposition politician best positioned to challenge Tinubu at the polls.
He said the former vice president has built sufficient political experience over the years to compete effectively for the presidency.
Modibbo went further, declaring that the result of the 2027 presidential election would become clear very early on election day.
“President Bola Tinubu will be defeated before 8 o’clock on the day of the election,” he said.
ADC Builds For 2027
The prediction comes as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The ADC has emerged as one of the major platforms around which opposition politicians are seeking to build a coalition capable of challenging the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Atiku has been positioned as the party’s presidential candidate, while several opposition figures continue to negotiate political alliances ahead of the election.
A Political Prediction, Not An Election Result
Modibbo’s statement remains a political prediction and does not represent an actual election result.
