The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is stepping up preparations for the 2027 general elections as its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, hosted the party’s governorship candidates to an interactive pre-campaign dinner in Abuja.

The meeting, held at Boto Restaurant in Wuse 2, brought together ADC governorship candidates and members of the party’s leadership for strategic discussions ahead of the commencement of campaigns.

Former Rivers State governor and ADC chieftain Rotimi Amaechi was also part of the gathering, underscoring the growing effort by the opposition party to coordinate its candidates and strengthen its structure ahead of the 2027 contest.

The dinner provided an opportunity for the candidates to exchange ideas, discuss campaign strategy and engage directly with the party’s presidential leadership as the political season gathers momentum.

The development comes as ADC continues to position itself as one of the major opposition platforms ahead of the 2027 presidential and governorship contests.
