Lagos businessman fulfils pre-fight pledge following Carter Efe’s unanimous win at “Chaos in the Ring 4” event

Lagos socialite and businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has confirmed a ₦50 million cash reward for content creator Carter Efe after his victory over singer Portable in a celebrity boxing match held in Lagos.

The fight took place on Friday night at the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event inside Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, where Carter Efe defeated Portable by unanimous decision after three rounds.

E-Money made the announcement immediately after the bout, reaffirming a pre-fight pledge he had made alongside other promoters to reward the winner of the highly publicised contest.

“You know we put our money where our mouth is, and so congratulations Carter on your win. ₦50 million for you,” E-Money said at the venue, drawing applause from attendees.

The event, promoted by Balmoral Group Promotions, featured multiple celebrity and professional bouts, with organisers describing it as one of the most entertaining editions of the series so far.

Carter Efe controlled the fight from the opening bell, using reach and composure to outbox Portable across all rounds. Judges scored the contest 30–27 in favour of Carter Efe, confirming a dominant performance.

The match was the climax of weeks of online exchanges between both entertainers, with Portable previously boasting of extending his celebrity boxing winning streak. However, he struggled to match Carter Efe’s discipline inside the ring.

With the cash reward confirmed, Carter Efe’s victory closes one of the most talked-about celebrity boxing rivalries in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, blending sport, spectacle, and social media-driven hype.
