INEC’s assurance comes as political parties and presidential aspirants increasingly turn their attention to the 2027 contest.
The commission has said its responsibility is to protect the integrity of the electoral process and ensure that voters are able to exercise their constitutional right without undue interference.
The statement comes amid growing public debate over whether Nigerians can have confidence that their votes will be accurately recorded and reflected in election outcomes.
Electoral credibility remains one of the most consequential issues ahead of 2027, particularly following years of public debate over vote transmission, voter registration, election technology, logistics and the independence of electoral institutions.
