Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to prioritise agriculture and small-scale businesses as part of his proposed strategy for addressing youth unemployment if elected president in 2027.
Obi made the remarks on Saturday in Kaduna during a political gathering organised by the NDC, where he appeared alongside his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, to discuss their proposed plans for the country.

He also said his proposed administration would only borrow money for investment rather than for consumption.
