Photographs of the sister of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her twin sons have surfaced online following their reported abduction in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The victims were identified as Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, who were reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday morning while travelling through the Challenge-Elewura area of Ibadan.
The emergence of the photographs has brought renewed attention to the incident as security agencies continue efforts to locate the victims and apprehend those responsible.
The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed that investigations are underway and disclosed that tactical teams were immediately deployed after the incident was reported. The victims’ vehicle has also been recovered as search operations continue.
The case has generated concern across Oyo State, coming amid broader discussions about kidnapping and public safety in the region.
As of the latest update, the victims remained in captivity while rescue efforts continued.
