Former Senator Says Nigerians Should Ignore Opposition Propaganda

Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani will complete two terms in office, arguing that their work is visible to Nigerians.

Sani made the statement in a post on X while urging Nigerians to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to him, the performance of both leaders should be judged by their visible work rather than what he described as opposition propaganda.

Sani Calls For Support For APC

Sani said Nigerians should not allow political narratives from opposition groups to influence their assessment of the Tinubu and Uba Sani administrations.

He wrote that the two leaders would complete eight years “by God’s grace” and urged Nigerians to unite behind APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

The former senator’s comments come as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections intensify, with the ruling APC and opposition parties already mobilising supporters.

Political Claims Remain Subject To Voters’ Assessment

Sani’s position represents his political assessment and support for the APC. Whether Tinubu and Uba Sani secure re-election will ultimately depend on the outcome of the 2027 elections.

The statement comes amid growing political debate over the performance of the Tinubu administration and the strength of opposition coalitions ahead of the next presidential election.
