The National Chairman of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the “worst President” in Nigeria’s history, warning that the North could face further difficulties if he secures another term in office in 2027.
Baba-Ahmed made the remarks while commenting on the political direction of the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to reports, the PRP chairman argued that the current administration has failed to meet the expectations of Nigerians and expressed particular concern about its impact on the northern region.
He further warned that a Tinubu victory in 2027 could worsen the situation in the North.
His comments come as political parties and opposition figures increasingly position themselves ahead of the 2027 presidential contest, with the performance of the Tinubu administration emerging as a central issue in the political debate.
The statement is expected to generate further reactions from supporters of the President and opposition groups as political activity intensifies ahead of the election.
