The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially commenced its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, calling on qualified Nigerians to apply for vacancies across its Officer, Marshal Inspectorate and Road Marshal Assistant cadres through the Corps’ online recruitment portal. Applications are free and will remain open for four weeks.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has launched its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, opening its online application portal to eligible Nigerians seeking employment in the Corps. The recruitment covers multiple professional and non-professional positions, with applications to be submitted exclusively through the official FRSC recruitment portal.
According to the recruitment notice signed by the Deputy Corps Marshal and Head of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, on behalf of the Corps Marshal, applications opened on Friday, July 3, 2026, and will remain open for four weeks.
The exercise covers three major categories:
- Officer Cadre – for professionals and graduates, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, lawyers, engineers and holders of B.Sc., BA and HND qualifications.
- Marshal Inspectorate Cadre – for applicants with ND/OND, NCE, Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife and Community Health Extension Worker qualifications.
- Road Marshal Assistant Cadre – for SSCE holders, artisans, drivers and other qualified applicants who meet the Corps’ requirements.
How to Apply
Interested applicants are required to:
- Visit the official FRSC recruitment portal.
- Select the preferred cadre and position.
- Complete the online application form with accurate personal and educational information.
- Submit the application online before the closing date.
The Corps advised applicants to use their personal email addresses and phone numbers, as shortlisted candidates will be contacted through the information provided and will be required to present printed copies of their application forms during screening.
General Requirements
FRSC stated that applicants must:
- Be Nigerian by birth.
- Meet the prescribed educational qualifications for the position applied for.
- Be medically fit.
- Possess good character and have no criminal record.
- Meet the minimum height requirement of 1.65 metres for men and 1.58 metres for women.
- Present all relevant certificates during the recruitment process.
Applicants seeking driver or rider positions must also possess the appropriate class of valid driver’s licence. Pregnant women were advised not to apply for the exercise.
Official Warning
The Corps emphasised that the recruitment exercise is completely free, warning applicants against fraudsters or anyone demanding payment in exchange for employment.
FRSC urged prospective candidates to submit only one application and ensure that all information provided is accurate, noting that false declarations could lead to disqualification.
The 2026 recruitment exercise forms part of FRSC’s efforts to strengthen its workforce and improve road safety operations across Nigeria. Qualified Nigerians have been encouraged to complete their applications within the stipulated four-week window through the official recruitment portal.
