Lagos State University (LASU) has celebrated its outstanding graduating students as the institution holds its 29th and 30th combined convocation ceremonies.
Among those recognised are Ayilara Olawale and Adebanjo Oluolamide, who emerged as the university’s best graduating students for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions respectively.
The convocation also highlights the scale of the university’s graduating cohort, with 20,604 students graduating from various programmes.
The institution is also celebrating an impressive academic achievement, with 494 students earning First Class honours across the two academic sessions.
The achievement places the students among the highest-performing graduates of the institution and underscores the academic accomplishments being celebrated at the combined convocation.
LASU’s recognition of its best graduating students forms part of the institution’s broader celebration of academic excellence and student achievement.
