Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi has graduated from the PFA Business School with a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship.
The 28-year-old footballer completed the programme with Merit, adding an academic qualification in football management and administration to his professional playing career.
Awoniyi announced the achievement on social media, describing the graduation as “another proud moment” and emphasising the importance of continued learning.
“Still playing. Still learning. The journey continues,” he wrote.
The Nigerian international also thanked the PFA Business School, lecturers, colleagues, family and friends for their support during the programme.
The qualification focuses on the business and management side of football, providing participants with knowledge relevant to leadership and sporting-directorship roles.
Awoniyi’s decision to pursue formal education while maintaining a professional football career adds another dimension to his activities away from the pitch.
