Former Osun State Governor and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rauf Aregbesola, has dismissed reports that the party is negotiating an alliance with any political party ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
Aregbesola said the ADC would contest the election independently, rejecting speculation that the party was prepared to transfer its support base to another political platform.
His comments come amid growing political realignments in Osun as the major parties enter the final phase of their campaigns.
