The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has urged Nigerians to place their trust in God as the ultimate solution to the country’s insecurity and other national challenges, saying human efforts alone cannot resolve the nation’s problems.
Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has called on Nigerians to seek God’s intervention in addressing the country’s worsening insecurity and socio-economic challenges. Speaking during a visit to the Benue State Government House as part of activities for the Global Crusade in the state, the cleric said lasting solutions to Nigeria’s problems can only come through God.
Kumuyi said that although individuals may be responsible for acts of violence and insecurity, they are not the ultimate solution to the nation’s problems.
According to him, Nigerians should humble themselves, pray and turn to God, stressing that divine intervention remains the surest path to national healing and peace.
He referenced the biblical promise that God is willing to heal the land when His people genuinely seek Him in repentance and prayer.
The cleric made the remarks while addressing journalists after meeting with Benue State officials represented by Deputy Governor Sam Ode during activities marking the ongoing Global Crusade in Gboko and Otukpo Local Government Areas.
He also expressed optimism that Nigeria can overcome its current challenges, urging citizens not to lose hope despite growing concerns over insecurity and economic hardship.
Kumuyi encouraged Nigerians both at home and abroad to unite in prayer and support efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability across the country.
He also commended the Benue State Government for developmental strides in infrastructure and education despite prevailing security challenges.
The respected cleric maintained that while governments have important responsibilities, lasting transformation begins with spiritual renewal. He urged Nigerians not to despair but to remain hopeful, prayerful and committed to building a peaceful nation through faith and collective responsibility.
